2014 EVENT DATE: SUNDAY 8 JUNE 2014
Entries will open online tomorrow, Tuesday 18 June 11am AEST for Triathlon Australia and International Priority (until allocation exhausted) & Thursday 20 June 11am AEST for General Entries.

Queensland triathletes Luke McKenzie and Liz Blatchford scored career defining victories in the Cairns Airport IRONMAN Cairns today.
Born in Britain, but raised in Perth, Blatchford enjoyed a successful move from the Olympic distance ranks to earn a hard-fought debut win while McKenzie scored by far the most credentialed of his six Ironman victories. Read more. 
8 June 2013 ATKINSON, KAHLEFELDT DOMINATE IRONMAN 70.3 CAIRNS
Cairns Airport IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns proved to be all about the bike, as former ITU athlete Courtney Atkinson set up his first IRONMAN 70.3 win with a strong bike leg in brutally windy conditions.All the pre-race talk centred on the battle between former ITU stars Brad Kahlefeldt, Courtney Atkinson, and current IRONMAN World Champion Pete Jacobs.
