2011 Australian National Triathlon Championship Series
- Welcome to the Triathlon Australia 2011 National Triathlon Championship Series website.
Here you will find all the information you need about the Series, the three premier races, World Championships Team qualification, results and series rankings.
Triathlon Australia launched the new three-race National Triathlon Championship Series format in September 2010. The series incorporates both Elite and Age Group races where competitors can earn points towards a final ranking that will result in Triathlon Australia crowning its 2011/2012 Australian Championship Series Champions.
The Series races also hold qualification points towards selection for the Triathlon Australia Age Group World Championships Team for Auckland in 2012. The inaugural Championship Series will kick off with the Geelong race in February, followed by Mooloolaba in March and finishing up with the Sydney race in April. 18 April 2011 Australian National Triathlon Championship Series Champions are crowned
Following the final race of the Australian Triathlon Championship Series in Sydney, the points have been calculated and the Age Group winners of the Series have been decided. Go to our Point Score page to see the full series point score, and the series champions. Triathlon Australia would like to extend a special congratulations to all of our members who competed in these races, and acknowledge our new 2010/2011 National Series Champions.

Elite Men - Spain's Javier Gomez labeled his performance in the opening round of the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series in Sydney as one of his toughest ever, as he fought back from a bike crash to claim an impressive victory. Elite Women - In a thrilling finish, a pack of six women that had the lead for more than half of the run leg were all in with a chance heading into the final lap. Watch the videos in our gallery
