Dextro Energy Triathlon Sydney
| When: | Sunday 15th April 2012 |
| Where: | Sydney, New South Wales |
As the final race of Australian National Triathlon Championship Series, the Sydney race is being held in conjunction with the opening race of the 2012 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series.
Our top Australian triathletes will be racing against the world’s best, in what is sure to be a gripping race for the first win of the 2012 ITU World Championships Series and ITU points.
This spectacular event will also see Age Group competitors race across a truly iconic course, and this promises to attract great crowds and be a fantastic spectacle for competitors, spectators and TV viewers alike.
This spectacular event will also see Age Group competitors race across a truly iconic course; swimming alongside the Opera House, riding over the Harbour Bridge and running through the Royal Botanical Gardens. This promises to attract great crowds and be a fantastic spectacle for competitors, spectators and TV viewers alike.
The Local Organising Committee is working hard to ensure both the ITU World Championship Elite event and the Age Group selection event become ‘must-do’ events in every triathletes’ calendar. With ITU support and significant funding from Events NSW for the next two years, the race can only get better and better.
Following the Sydney race, Triathlon Australia is proud to host the "Celebration of Champions Awards Dinner"
The dinner will be in Sydney on the evening of the race to celebrate Australia’s current Champions in Triathlon. For more information about the dinner, please check the Triathlon Australia website – www.triathlon.org.au
More details coming soon.
