Bike Transfer
There are a number of options available for bike collection for the 2013 Cairns Airport IRONMAN Cairns and IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns. Please read below for the options relating to your event, and please be aware that any pre-booked bike transfer services will work on a first in first served basis. Once we have reached the capacity of each service they will show as SOLD OUT.
BIKE TRANSFER SERVICES For IRONMAN Competitors
Option 1:
Bikes and run gear bags will be transported back to T1, Fogarty Park and be available for collection between 9am-12noon Monday the 10th of June (this transfer is included in your registration).
Option 2:
If you require your bike to be ready on Sunday, a friend or family member can collect your bike from T2 by collecting a Bike Release Form from the Information Booth. You will be provided with a sticker to place on your bike, staff are aware your bike is being collected from T2. Locals who wish to collect their bike direct from T2 will also need to collect this sticker. T2 will be open for bike collection between 1pm-6.30pm.
Option 3:
If you do not have a friend or family member to collect your bike, but require your bike earlier than Monday morning, you will need to purchase a ticket for the Priority Bike Transfer Service. This service must be booked (if not sold out prior) by 5pm Saturday the 8th of June.
Collection Point: T1, Fogarty Park
Collection Time: 10pm-1am, Sunday the 9th of June
Transfer Fee: $40.00
Transfer Service Status: AVAILABLE - This service is closed Online, tickets will now need to be purchased at the Event Information Booth.
BIKE TRANSFER SERVICES For IRONMAN 70.3 Competitors
Please note, IRONMAN 70.3 bikes will need to be collected during the times listed below:
Option 1:
You may collect your bike and run gear bag following your race from T2 at Marlin Coast Recreational Centre, from approximately 1pm to 6.30pm on Sunday the 9th of June.
Please note: it is advisable that you DO NOT ride your bike back from T2 on the Captain Cook Highway.
Option 2:
You can appoint a friend or family member to collect your bike from T2 between approximately 1pm and 6.30pm on Sunday the 9th of June. They will need to collect a Bike Release Form from the Information Booth in order to do this.
Option 3:
If you do not have a friend or family member to collect your bike, and require your bike to be delivered to T1, you will need to purchase a ticket for one of the Velotrans Bike Transfer Services-
PRIORITY Bike Transfer Service
Collection Point: T1, Fogarty Park
Collection Time: 4pm-6.30pm, Sunday the 9th of June
Transfer Fee: $40.00
Transfer Service Status: SOLD OUT
*Please be aware that you had the option to purchase this at the time of registration. If you are unsure if you have already purchased this service, please check your own registration, or call the USM Events Brisbane office to check your registration.

MONDAY Bike Transfer Service
Collection Point: T1, Fogarty Park
Collection Time: 9am-12noon, Monday the 10th of June
Transfer Fee: $50.00
Transfer Service Status: AVAILABLE- This service is closed Online, tickets will now need to be purchased at the Event Information Booth.
LATE Bike Transfer Service
Collection Point: T1, Fogarty Park
Collection Time: 12noon, Monday the 10th of June
Transfer Fee: $60.00
Transfer Service Status: NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE. Only able to be booked in person at the Info Booth 6.30pm-9pm Race Day, or 8.30am-10am Monday the 10th.
