About Caloundra
Family friendly beaches, water activities galore and wonderful coastal and mountain views. With year-round patrolled beaches safe for children and loads of family friendly things to do and experience, the Caloundra area at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast is the perfect spot for a bucket & spade holiday.
You can swim, surf and snorkel at Kings Beach, Bulcock Beach or Golden Beach. The 25-metre sea water lap pool at Kings Beach is equipped with a children’s swimming pool and wading area. Bring your own picnic or cook up a barbeque at a beachside park.
You can fish, canoe, windsurf and water ski in Pumicestone Passage. Or explore the coastline by boat, kayak or jet ski. Tee off at the Greg Norman-designed Pelican Waters Golf Club or cheer on the thoroughbreds at the Corbould Park races.
The Caloundra Coastal Path walking trail stretches from Golden Beach to Point Cartwright along the scenic shoreline. Try the lesser-known beaches to get away from the crowds, like Moffat, Shelly, Dicky, Currimundi and Kawana Waters.
So why wait? Fun in the sun at Caloundra could be just the right solution for your next family holiday.
