Club Champs
Gatorade Queensland Tri Series Club Champs
Race 4 at Robina played host to the annual Club Champs competition.
As reigning champions from the 2010-11 Gatorade Tri Series, RedDog were keen to maintain their strong grip on the title.
Points were awarded as follows:
Points system:
All club/squad members who participate will gain one (1) point for their squad/club.
Gatorade QTS
Those who finish in the top 5 in their respective category will also be awarded additional points to go towards their club's tally:
- 6 points 1st place
- 5 points 2nd place
- 4 points 3rd place
- 3 points 4th place
- 2 points 5th place
Enticer
Those who finish in the top 3 in their respective category will also be awarded additional points to go towards their club's tally:
- 4 points 1st place
- 3 points 2nd place
- 2 points 3rd place
Kool Kids
Those who finish in the top 3 in their respective category will also be awarded additional points to go towards their club's tally:
- 4 points 1st place
- 3 points 2nd place
- 2 points 3rd place
Teams
Those teams who finish in the top 3 in their respective category will also be awarded additional points (per team) to go towards their club's tally:
- 4 points 1st place

The main competition came down to the three biggest clubs - Reddog, Southbank Tri Club and BTS. Participation points were tight, with only 13 points separating the top 2 clubs when online registrations closed on the Thursday prior to the event. The race for Club Champs winner would come down to the final results.
Reddog must have put in a few extra hours of training over the Christmas Break as the top placings were dominated with Reddog club members, which saw the club maintain its title for the second year in a row. The club received a Merida Time Warp bike, valued at $4,699.00 , as well as 10 free entries into the Gold Coast Triathlon - Luke Harrop Memorial.
