Festival Events
Geelong's picturesque waterfront will play host to the annual Geelong Multi Sport Festival, 8-10 February 2013, delivering three days of sport and community activities to the Geelong district, extended regions throughout Victoria whilst also attracting competitors nationally in providing events for all ages and abilities.
Now in its’ third year, and following on from the enormously successful Multi Sport formula used at the Noosa and Mooloolaba Festivals, the Geelong Multi Sport Festival 2013 is poised to present this hallmark event to a passionate market.

Target Foreshore Fun Run/Walk supporting Give Where You Live (5km & 10km)The Target Foreshore Fun Run/Walk supporting Give Where You Live is sure to be one that brings out the community spirit along with some very creative costumes (something blue!) and raise valuable funds for local charity and fundraising partner, Give Where You Live, with 50% of your entry fee donated! The festival is aimed to include an event for everyone, and the striking backdrop that the Geelong waterfront offers will ensure the 10km and 5km courses offer a pleasant fun run whether you’re running, jogging or walking. Some fantastic random prizes will be up for grabs!

Geelong 1000 Bay SwimThis unique 1000m bay swim (including timing) will provide the keen ocean swimmers an event that sets itself apart from others and is also a great warm up for those tackling the Geelong Triathlon on Sunday.

Geelong Independent Superkidz TriathlonThe kids' only version of the Geelong Triathlon - proudly sponsored by the Geelong Independent newspaper! Short achievable distances for kids aged 7-13 years based on participation and fun. It's not about being the best but giving it a go and having a whole lot of fun being active. The Family Wave allows children (under 13) to participate with a family member. Entry includes event singlet, finisher's medallion, goodie bag, and lots of great random draw prizes. |

The Carter Group Special TriathlonThe Carter Group Special Triathlon is specifically held for people with special needs. This triathlon showcases some of the most memorable moments of the weekend with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment. Entrants can bring a "buddy" to assist them on the short achievable distance on a completely safe course. Held in conjunction with the Geelong Independent Superkidz Triathlon! Entry includes event Tshirt, finisher's medallion, goodie bag, and lots of great random draw prizes. |

Target Enticer Corporate Triathlon supporting Give Where You LiveShort achievable distances suitable for a range of fitness levels and sporting backgrounds. Whether you’re a newbie to the sport of triathlon or training for the big event, the Enticer is sure to be a memorable experience. Corporate Teams or Individual 400m Swim / 10km Cycle / 4km Run Entry includes event goodie bag, and lots of great random draw prizes.
