Before the legends of triathlon do battle in the gruelling SunSmart IRONMAN 70.3 Mandurah, USM EVENTS are calling on kids to join the action and excitement in an event just for them, the IRONKIDS Mandurah.
The IronKids Mandurah will give children the opportunity to ‘try a tri’ with short achievable distances, on a completely safe course with adult helpers to ensure you have a fun event.
The event is designed for kids aged 7 to 13 years and aims to give every child, regardless of expertise, the chance to experience how good exercise feels, to enjoy activity with friends and to improve their skills.
Places are limited so don't wait to enter!

Location: Hall Park, located on the Western Foreshore.

Distances
7 - 10 yrs* 100m swim / 2km cycle/ 500m run
11 - 13yrs* 200m swim /& 4km cycle / 1km run
*age is based at 31st December 2012.

Entry Fee: $25.00 per child*
*Please note, the Active.com processing fee of 5% will be charged at the checkout page. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
**All competitors will be required to present a valid Triathlon Australia (or equivalent international federation) membership card, or purchase a one-day licence at the venue in order to enter the registration marquee.

Event Day Entries
Event day entries will be accepted at Check-In on Saturday 20 October 7.00am - 8.15am.
Please note a $10 late registration fee will apply.
Prizes
The first 250 registered participants will receive an IRONKIDS Mandurah T-shirt and Participation medal. Entrants can go into the draw to win some awesome random draw prizes on the day!
NOTE: This event is non-competitive therefore no times or placings are recorded.
