Subaru Cycle Noosa
Sunshine Coast's breathtaking nature is just better on two wheels than four. Don't you agree? If you do, than SUBARU CYCLE NOOSA is for you! SUBARU CYCLE NOOSA is the host brand for all cycling events happening within Noosa Ultimate Sports Fest.
There are two distances to choose from to meet all cyclist enthusiast needs: 160km and 85km, occurring on Sunday, 28 April. Both courses are designed to impress your legs and your eyes. Clip in, and enter into the SUBARU CYCLE NOOSA that best suits you!
- 160km, previously part of the Subaru Noosa Century Cycle
- 85km, a shortened version of the 100km distance associated with the Subaru Noosa Century Cycle
160km
Check In Time & Location: Saturday 27 April, 1pm - 5pm at Noosa Lions Park | Sunday 28 April 5am - 5:45pm
Start Time & Location: 6.00am from Noosa Parade

Course Information
The 160km course features a tour through the hinterland, townships of Pomona, Cooroy and Eumundi, where the challenging accents become an afterthought to the spectacular vistas.

- There will be three Pace Riders available at the following average speeds (km/hour): 26.00, 30.00, 34.00
- The three Aid Stations will be equipped with water, ENDURA, fruit, lollies, cake, etc. Aid Stations are listed on the above map.
- A bike mechanic will be on course to assist with any incidents. However, please be sure to come prepared with money to pay for the mechanic fee and spare tubes in case of a puncture.
SUBARU CYCLE NOOSA King of the Hill Challenge (160km course)
Did you think you were just going for a cruise down David Low? Yeah right! Let’s test those legs and see what you're really made of! Take on the challenge to conquer the hill climb with the fastest time and win a well-deserved prize and bragging rights, of course. Each category winner will take home a luxurious SUBARU Picnic Basket suited out with all your picnic needs to enjoy a relaxing day in the park.
Key Facts:
- Where: Cootharaba Rd at the 26.5km mark
- How long: Approx. 3km
- Elevation: 100m
- Timing: Monitored by electronic radar via your net time up the hill. Note: It is not the first up the hill, but the fastest up the hill.
- Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each division, as well as a grand prize to the overall winner with the fastest time.

Race Kits
Race kits are not posted out. All participants need to check-in and collect the event kits on either Saturday, 27 April or Sunday, 28 April in the designated check-in times for each event. Specific check in times will be posted on the web soon.

Each participant will receive a SUBARU CYCLE NOOSA drawstring bag.
Prizes
SUBARU CYCLE NOOSA 160km ride is not a race, and therefore no placings are awarded. However, a set of Zipp Wheels will be up for grabs! Make sure your bib number is in the barrel and you are at presentations to be in the draw to win it.
85km
Please also take the time to review the relevant directions detailing the route back to Noosa Civic (85km cycle start) from the Noosa Heads Lions Park.

Course Information
The 85km course is a shortened version of the 100km ride from 2012. This ride is perfect for new cyclist, and enthusiast looking for a shorter distance.
