USM EVENTS

USM Events develops and manages mass participation sporting and cultural events to an international level all around Australia.

With over 50 events and more than 120,000 competitors and participants each year, we are one of Australia’s largest and most experienced event management specialists.

We have 24 years of experience, originally established as a professional entity to direct the foreseen growth and development of the Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival, which now attracts more than 10,000 competitors from around the globe.

Our offices are based in Noosa, Brisbane and the Gold Coast; where we employ over 30 people on a full-time basis and up to 200 casual employees, as well as coordinating hundreds of committed volunteers.

In 2006, Definitive Events joined forces with USM Events and together they form a dynamic Australian Events company with assets in a plethora of festivals and events.

With the majority of events in our portfolio being of a sporting nature, we also own, manage or consult to some of Australia’s largest music and cultural events such as the much-loved Noosa Jazz Festival.

We create our events from a common vision for success with our participants and our sponsors. We are constantly exploring new and cutting edge innovations in event management that delivers consistently professional, safe, world-class events.

This vision is celebrated with our award-winning Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival. Our flagship event won the prestigious 2001 Australian Sports Tourism Event of the Year – hot on the heels of the 2000 Olympics which won the award the previous year. This event was also named the Queensland Sports Event of the Year for 2002.

Adding to this was the 2005 Sunshine Coast Event of the Year, awarded to the Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival & ITU World Cup in recognition for the past fourteen years of planning and developing the event into a three-day festival, which is now acknowledged at an international level.

These accolades represent the benchmark maintained for all USM Events and reiterate the growth opportunities that exist for our events and sponsors alike.

Our company provides operational services and equipment to the whole spectrum of the event industry. We also manage conferences, seminars, expos and industry events and can deliver all your event needs including marketing, online ticketing, infrastructure, risk management, traffic planning and administration services.
