Check Points and Spectators

Almost the entire trail is accessible by vehicle. However as riders will be on most of the forestry roads at some time it is recommended that support crews meet at check points and designated ‘great spots for a shot’ vantage points.

The Noosa Enduro will have three official check points. At each check point rider numbers will be recorded to ensure fairness in the race results and to maintain safety levels on course.

Each check point offers the opportunity for support crews to catch up with riders for refueling, minor medical and photographic purposes.
The first of the Check point’s is the ‘Worm Farm’ in Ringtail Forest, the second check point is at Race HQ in Pomona and checkpoint three will be in at kin Kin Sports Grounds. The latter two offer great coffee to keep patient supporters entertained whilst waiting for tired riders to emerge from the bush. It is recommended that riders are self sufficient in refueling foods and spares, USM however, will provide some bananas, fruit buns and jelly beans at each check point.

* NOTE - ENDURA is the nutrition sponsor & will provide a gel and an energy bar in the race kit at registration as well as an electrolyte sports drink at the check points.
