Welcome to the home of the Noosa Blue Water Swim by USM Events.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2009 Noosa Blue Water Swim.   For those that missed it, we were treated to a truly beautiful Noosa day where the sun beamed down, dolphins accompanied swimmers into shore, Olympian Melissa Gorman regained her crown and Trent Grimsey emerged as the new male champion.   for more results.

We hope competitors, spectators and sponsors enjoyed the day as much as we did and we look forward to welcoming you back to an even bigger and better 2010 Noosa Blue Water Swim.

NOOSA BLUE 2KM FOOTWEAR INFO

Last year you told us that being able to walk along the track was great but that doing it in bare feet was just too much to bear!

This year we’re happy to tell you that QPWS have also given us permission to drive a car to the start of the Noosa Blue 2km swim so we can transport your footwear back to the Gear Tent.

To help us out it would be greatly appreciated if all Noosa Blue 2km competitors only wore THONGS to the Noosa Blue 2km start.  This will assist our volunteers enormously in labelling your footwear and transporting it back.

The Down Syndrome "Down Under" Swimming Organisation was created in Australia to give swimmers with Down Syndrome a greater opportunity to compete at an International level. In November 2008 20 Australian hopefuls made their way to Portugal to compete in the 4th Down Syndrome World Swimming Championships. These swimmers represented their country and made Australia proud! It’s their time to “Shine” so let’s continue our support.
