Now in it’s fourth season, the Noosa Blue Water Swim is gaining momentum with each passing year and continues to win over swimming enthusiasts looking for a great destination event heading into the more temperate season - and what better place to escape than Noosa.
Once again this fabulous event will showcase all of Noosa’s wonderful attributes and will feature as part of the fabulous Noosa Mayfiesta. The Noosa Blue Water Swim will be held on Sunday May 20.

In Noosa there’s always something worth celebrating but especially during Noosa Mayfiesta a new event, experience and indulgence to savour – another 31 good reasons to visit Noosa in May.

The now famous annual event takes advantage of Noosa’s fabulous climate, sublime lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere.

The Noosa Blue Water Swim was the brain child of Noosa Blue Resort Owner, Phillip Harding and Ray White boss, Brian White. Both mates and keen Noosa swimmers, they have securely made this event part of the annual, South East Queensland ocean based events, and timed to take advantage of Noosa’s magnificent winter weather.

You can be part of the Noosa Blue Water Swim by competing in either the 2km Noosa Blue Water Swim from Tea Tree Bay around the headland to Noosa Main Beach or the 1km Ray White Ocean Swim from Little Cove to Main Beach. If you think those distances are a bit out of your league then we have the Viridian 500m Splash and Nipper Challenge along Noosa Main Beach. Noosa’s subtropical temperatures make it an ideal place for ocean swimming all year round.

If you compete in either the 2km or 1km swims stick around for presentations because you are eligible to win yourself a trip to either the Vanuatu Ocean Swim on June 16 and Fiji Ocean Swim (October 12-14). The packages include airfare for one, four (Vanuatu) and three (Fiji) night’s accommodation, transfers and event entry/function fee.

Importantly, the day is designed for fun and participation so there will be heaps of random draw prizes given away so everyone has a chance to win.
