Pace Runners:
To assist in achieving your goals, Pace Runners will be provided in the Viridian Noosa Half Marathon for the following times. The Pat Carroll Online Coaching Pace Team will be providing runners at the following intervals.

Entries Deadline:
Online and mail entries close at 5pm Thursday 21st August 2008.
Entries are accepted on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th at the venue - refer to race day timetable for deadlines.
Saturday Entries: $5 late fee applies for all events
Sunday Entries: $10 late fee applies for the Viridian Noosa Half Marathon and Scody Noosa 10km Run. $5 late fee applies for the Beckmans Green Noosa 5km Run/Walk

Changes/Refunds:
Any changes to entries must be made by Wednesday 20th August 2008. Entry fees are non-transferable and cannot be sold. 50% refunds will be issued up until 5pm, Wednesday 13th August 2008. No refunds will be issued after this date. Withdrawals must be received in writing via email or mail by 5pm, Wednesday 13th August 2008.

Registration:
Registration will take place at the Noosa Heads Lions Park, corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads (opposite the bus terminal).

Please find the following times to collect your event information and timing chip for all races.

Saturday 23 August:
2.00-5.00pm: Registrations and Late entries for all events.

Sunday 24 August:
5.00-6.00am: Registration & Late entries Viridian Noosa Half Marathon
5.00-7.30am: Registration & Late entries Noosa 10km
6.00-8.00am: Registration & Late entires Beckmans Green Noosa 5km

Beckmans Green Noosa 5km Run/Walk
Product prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd Male and Female of each category.

NOTE: If you are a winner of any of these prizes and are unable to stay for presentations, you will need to arrange for your prize to be collected from the USM office within 2 weeks of the event date.  Alternatively, we can post your prize for a surcharge of $10.

Parking:
Parking is available from Cooyar Street, Noosa Junction. A shuttle will be available from 5am-11am to transport competitors and spectators to and from Noosa Heads Lions park for a $1 donation each way. All proceeds go to the Noosa Heads Lions Club.

Medical Support
Medical support will be present on the day. Please clearly write details of any medical conditions you have that may affect you during the event on the back of your chest number. Please notify a course official if you have any difficulties during the event.

Please note that insufficient training, failure to pace yourself and disregard for the importance of taking fluids has resulted in life threatening conditions such as heat stroke and dehydration, both in experienced and first time runners. Ensure that you are adequately prepared and take fluids at water stations throughout the race.

Gear
A gear tent will be available on race day. Please make sure gear is marked with your race number. Labels will be available at the gear tent.

Finishing
Road Closures, aid stations and marshals are geared for a 9.30am cut off time. Competitors remaining on the course after the progressive opening of the roads do so at their own risk. No times will be recorded after 10.00am. Water and fruit will be provided in the Recovery Area for all competitors.

Results
Results will be available online Sunday night, 24th August 2008.
