Welcome to the 19th annual Noosa Jazz Festival Presented by Valad and Ashington.

2009 sees us take a step back into the festivals history; showcasing its traditional foundations in which the festival was built. This year’s festival is a celebration of traditional jazz played to raise the spirits in these difficult times. Let’s leave the cares of the world behind us as we enjoy great music in great venues at Noosa.

The festival retains its authentic roots; but due to overwhelming demand we see the return of the Bicentennial Hall with a program of plentiful performances including festival favourite, Bob Barnard’s 75th birthday celebration, our popular official ‘participating restaurants’ and daily river cruises are maintained and bolstered in  will be the best festival for Jazz Lovers in its 19 year history.

In addition to the annual festival line-up, we are pleased to present the ‘Twilight Jazz Sessions’, our premium evening with Katie Noonan and her Blackbird Project, Australian pianist Paul Grabowsky, together with up and coming vocalist Megan Washington, and modern day crooner Carl Riseley.

The Woods Park is the feature venue this year; we are planning a fantastic presentation for the venue, overlooking the iconic Noosa River. So come down and enjoy some great Jazz in these beautiful surrounds.
