Did you know that fun & laughter is good for you?

Laughter has been found to lower blood pressure, reduce stress and release endorphins; the body's natural pain killers. You have probably noticed that you simply feel better after a good laugh. The problem is, of course, that your sense of humor generally abandons you when you need it most - on tough days.

For children living with cancer and their families, tough days can stretch into tough weeks, months, and sometimes years. Camp Quality is committed to bringing hope and happiness to every child living with cancer, their families and communities through on-going quality recreational, educational, hospital and financial support programs.

We passionately believe in the power of optimism and fun to help children and their families overcome the challenges that cancer brings what we like to call Fun Therapy . We are convinced that the caring of sick children goes beyond medication and technology and that our programs play a crucial role in supporting these children and their families.

Camp Quality is proud to be supported by the 2007 Noosa Multi Sports Festival in it s celebratory 25th Anniversary year. Thanks to the generosity of USM Events, money is raised each year at this event to send South Qld children living with cancer to recreational camps where they are given the opportunity to escape the world of hospitals and treatment. Funds are raised through a number of ways, one of which is to nominate a $5 donation to Camp Quality on your entry form, so keep your eye out for the option when you complete your registration form.

Camp Quality will also have a stand at the expo where funky, fun and bright coloured merchandise will be available. A fabulous raffle will run over the event period with great prizes to win including a Peppertown Stryder Kayak valued at over $700.

The proceeds from the 2007 Noosa Multi Sports Festival will contribute to funding the South Qld Junior Camp to be held in March 2008. Approx. 30 diagnosed children aged between 3 and 8 years will spend three days together experiencing the thing that CQ is best at providing FUN and LAUGHTER!
