Gatorade Queensland Triathlon Series

The 2010/11 Gatorade Queensland Triathlon Series open for entries online next month!

Entries will open on the 1st August 2010.

R1,2,5 & 6: 400m swim /15km cycle / 4km run
R3,4 & 7: 750m swim / 20km cycle / 5km run

R1,2,5 & 6: 200m swim / 5km cycle / 2km run
R3,4 & 7: 300m swim / 10km cycle / 2.5km run

All Races: 100m swim / 2km cycle / 400m run

Entry Closing Dates

All entries close at 12pm Friday prior to each race. Saturday and Sunday entries on the weekend of each race may be accepted with a late entry fee if not already sold out.

Entry Competitions

Enter three or more races of the Gatorade Queensland Triathlon Series at once and be put into the draw
for your chance to win a SRAM GROUPSET.

Entries for this draw close September 1st.

Discount Structure

Enter into more than one race of the 2010/11 Series in one transaction and receive the following discounts:

	2 - 3 Races Entered	4 - 5 Races Entered
QTS Adult	$3 per race (up to $9 off)	$5 per race (up to $25 off)
QTS U/16	$2 per race	$4 per race
Enticer	$2 per race	$4 per race
The Courier-Mail Kool Kids Triathlon	$2 per race	$4 per race

NB: Applies to individual competitors only. Purchases of races must be made in the same transaction.

Family Discount

USM EVENTS are again offering families their own discount structure for the 2010/11 series.

The discount applies to families entering more than three immediate family members in the same race.

Series Points

The Gatorade Queensland Triathlon series consists of 7 Races throughout South East Queensland; Raby Bay, Robina, Caloundra and the final at the Gold Coast, the Luke Harrop Memorial. Enter in a minimum of four races and you will be eligible for the Gatorade Queensland Triathlon Series Champion 2010/2011. For each race you enter, you will receive points determined on category place. The first 50 competitors to cross the line will be awarded points. Your best 5 points scores will be accumulated to determine a category winner.

Throughout the season, the competitor with the best overall placing, who is registered by 12pm the Friday before each race will be given a bright green bib to wear to be identifiable as the categories current leader.

This season Kool Kids will receive different coloured ribbons for completing each of the 7 races. Can you collect all seven??

Star Class

Star class will be offered for competitors in race 1,3 and 7 – the grand final at the Gold Coast Triathlon – Luke Harrop Memorial race.

Star class costs $120 for prime position racking in transition, Gatorade goodies and race pack delivery to your house. Money will be donated to the Series Charity. Watch this space for more details.
