Noosa Blue Water SwimThe Noosa Blue Water swim will be the opening event of the Noosa Winter Festival and continues to win over swimming enthusiasts looking for a great destination event heading into the more temperate season. There is a distance to suit everyone including the Noosa Blue Water 2km Swim from Tea Tree Bay around the headland to Noosa Main Beach and the Zinc 96 1km Swim from Little Cove to Main Beach. If you think those distances are a bit out of your reach then try the 500m Splash and Nipper Challenge along the sunny shores of Noosa Main Beach. |

The Noosa Paddle In its first year in 2011, the Noosa Paddle proved to be a must-do-event. Whether you are an experienced paddler or just want to give it a go, the Noosa Paddle gives you an opportunity to paddle in a spectacular sunshine coast setting. Ocean-ski's, stand-up paddlers and outriggers are welcome to participate in the Noosa Paddle. |

Subaru Noosa Century CycleThe Subaru Noosa Century Cycle starts in the heart of Noosa Heads and takes in the best the Sunshine Coast has to offer. The 100mile (160km) and 100km courses, take in the hinterland townships of Pomona, Cooroy and Eumundi where the challenging accents will be far outweighed by the spectacular vistas. The gut wrenching climbs are rewarded with views of the North Shore and Fraser Island down to the base of the coast line. |

Noosa Half Marathon; Mizuno Noosa 10km Run & Noosa News 5km Run/WalkOnce again the Noosa Winter Festival will be serving up the Noosa Half Marathon (21.1km), Mizuno Noosa 10km Run and the Noosa News 5km Run/Walk to satisfy all levels and abilities with distances to ensure there is something for everyone. Regarded as one of Australia's premier half marathon events it also boasts one of the fastest and most picturesque courses in Australia. The start is on Noosa Parade with the finish line situated in the Lions Park. The 21.1km run is over two laps of a completely flat course that heads out along the Noosa River to Tewantin. The Mizuno Noosa 10km run follows the same route but only one lap, while the 5km run/walk is also over one lap, out and back along famous Noosa Parade. |

Noosa EnduroThe Noosa Enduro event will NOT be going ahead as part of the 2012 Noosa Winter Festival in May. Due to difficulties with securing a suitable course in the Noosa region, we are unable to deliver a safe and interesting event. We apologise to those keen mountain bikers and we hope to be able to bring back the event in the near future. |
