Support National Breast Cancer Foundation and Remember Sam!
The National Breast Cancer Foundation is the official Run charity of the Noosa Winter Festival and USM EVENTS will donate $5 from every 5km Run/Walk entry to the charity for research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.
The 2012 event will run as a tribute to the memory of local hero Sam Naudin (1964 – 2012), who sadly lost her battle to cancer earlier this year.
Hailed as an inspiration and fundraising hero, Sam Naudin was a regular participant of the Noosa Winter Festival participating in the Noosa Half Marathon, Mizuno Noosa 10km Run and the Noosa News 5km Run/Walk. The 47-year-old triathlete lost her four-and-a-half year battle with cancer, but her spirit and "never, never give up" attitude continues to live on in all who had the privilege of meeting her.
Lorna Jane are also supporting both the National Breast Cancer and the Sam Naudin Tribute at the Noosa News 5km Run/Walk by having their "Never Never Never Give Up" singlets for a discounted price of $25 and will donate $5 from every sale to the National Breast Cancer Foundation!
Singlets are available to purchase when you register online for any Noosa Winter Festival event. Limited singlets will also be available to purchase from the National Breast Cancer Foundation expo booth in festival village at the event.
If you've already registered, you can simply log back into your registration and add a "Never Never Give Up singlet"!
