| ENTRY |
The Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival uses the latest security technology to capture online entry information safely, which allows competitors from all over the world to easily access the Festival. The website is operational with links to Mooloolaba and what the area has to offer.

| ENTRIES CLOSE |

All closing dates indicative closing date only. Strict field limits apply. This is for the safety of all participants. Entries may close earlier if field limit is reached before closing date.

| RACE ACCEPTANCE |
Individual Competitors must be a minimum of 15 years old as at the 31/12/2008.
Team Competitors must be a mimimum of 14 years old as at 31/12/2008.
OPEN AGE category - Conditions apply (see below).

| ARIA OPEN ELITE |
In 2007 USM Events introduced the Open Elite race due to the high demand from athletes not eligible to compete in the ITU World Cup. To compete, competitors must hold a current professional licence. The ARIA Open Elite is Draft Legal.

| OPEN AGE GROUP |
To be eligible for this category you must supply your best three race results over the olympic distance in the past 18 months.
Open Age Group Qualifying Times - Men: Sub 2hrs 5mins (2:05), Female: Sub 2hrs 18mins (2:18)

| AGE GROUP & TEAMS |
Open to all competitors no qualification required. Triathlon Australia rules apply. Non-drafting, wetsuit ruling subject to Triathlon Australia rules and the Medical Director. The event has road closures for the cycle and run courses.
Team competitors must be a minimum of 14 years old as at 31/12/08, Mooloolaba Triathlon competitors must be a minimum of 15 years old as at 31/12/08.

| INTERNATIONAL COMPETITORS |
International competitors must ensure they have sufficient personal insurance in place to cover any medical expenses that may potentially arise from participation in the 2009 Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival.
Further information will be forwarded to you on receipt of entry.
Overseas entrants should pay by bank draft in Australian Dollars.

| TEAM CHANGES |
Any team wishing to replace a team member must complete a Mooloolaba Triathlon entry form with the details of the new team member and attach details of the change to be made, and forward to USM Events, P.O. Box 3145, Noosa Heads QLD 4567. Team changes are permitted up until 5:00pm Monday 22nd March 2009.

Security guards on duty 4.00pm Saturday to 5.00am Sunday. Security chains recommended for Saturday night. Remember to bring the key with you Sunday morning!

The Offical Wetsuit Ruling for the Mooloolaba Triathlon will be announced on Sunday 29th March and will be displayed on information boards at Registration.

You will need to inform us whether you would like to pick up your medal from the USM office, or if you would like your medal posted to you for a surcharge of $10.00.
